Bounty Day with Pinetree Tours

Join us for one of Norfolk Island’s most treasured traditions, Bounty Day, the island’s celebration of our Pitcairn heritage.

Your morning begins with a 9am pickup from your accommodation before heading to Kingston, where you’ll witness the island community march from the pier to the cemetery in honour of the arrival of our Pitcairn ancestors in 1856. As you stand on the sidelines, you’ll be welcome to take photos as the locals sing hymns and commemorate their history.

At around 11am, your driver will collect you and take you to Orn Da Cliff, where you’ll enjoy a hearty lunch of local dishes and homemade desserts. With sweeping cliffside views and a warm, cosy indoor setting, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Norfolk’s winter season and soak up the spirit of Bounty Day.
